2016–Forever
How We Met
Kickball of course! We met on a team called Assassins in the summer of 2016 in Studio City, CA. Jackie was the starting catcher and caught Billy's eye. He had asked mutual friends about her but it wasn't until July 2018 that we finally hit it off at a WeRD team barbeque and two whole days later Billy finally asked Jackie on a date.
Our First Date
We set a date… but Jackie forgot she had plans to pick up a couch from Peyton's cousin and asked to reschedule. The nice guy that Billy is, and skeptical of getting blown off, he offered to help. Good thing because despite Peyton & Jackie's athleticism, we needed more muscle. After moving the couch, and with Peyton’s helpful nudge, we finally went on our first date to dinner at the Tipsy Cow.
A Little About Us
We share a love for competitive kickball (obviously), craft beer, game nights with friends, Taco Tuesdays, and just being goofy. We often travel around the country to visit friends and family, play kickball, snowboard the Rockies, attend Beer Fests and more. While traveling, we always visit local breweries to try new beer which sometimes includes a beer draft with friends.
The Proposal
Jackie's only proposal request was that there wasn't an audience, however Billy knew better... He decided to propose in May 2022 when our close group of friends were all together in Jacksonville, FL for Peyton's wedding. With the Bride's permission of course, Billy surprised Jackie at the Sunday brunch and it was amazing to celebrate with many of our close friends.
